The Directive RoHS 2011/65/EU restricts the use of hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment: the use of lead (Pb), mercury (Hg), cadmium (Cd), hexavalent chromium (Cr6+), polybrominated biphenyls (PBB) and polybrominated diphenyl ether (PBDE) are restricted, with exception of special categories of products.
Since January 2013 all products carrying the CE Marking shall be manufacture in compliance with the directive.
Nossa Elettronica delivers the Declaration of Conformity for every manufactured product, both electronic equipment and wire, according to the RoHS requirements and in order to allow the customer to draft the technical documentation for the CE marking.
The Declaration of Conformity is issued with univocal reference to the product ID number and it is updated with every allowed change in manufacturing materials.
The material suppliers are required to deliver the Declaration of Conformity together with the wares. Periodically the crucible of the welder is tested for contamination, in order to verify the concentration levels of hazardous substances.
